In oktober 2021 is het luxe coffee table boek Retsisrepus: 1001 Supersister moments verschenen, een rijk geïllustreerde concert chronologie + discografie van de progressieve nederpoplegende Supersister. Dit XL size (31 x 31 cm = LP-formaat) ‘fotoboek’ (het is zoveel meer dan gewoon een fotoboek!) is uitgevoerd in full colour met foto’s op groot formaat, afkomstig uit privéarchieven en het archief van de band.

De rode draad die je door het boek leidt, bestaat uit '1001 Supersister-momenten’: alle bekende optredens, opnamesessies, bootlegopnamen en andere belangrijke momenten uit het bestaan van Supersister. Door Fred Baggen, auteur van de biografie, omgekeerd chronologisch in kaart gebracht. Waarna het fotoboek afsluit met de volledige Supersister discografie, 
inclusief afbeeldingen van alle – zelfs niet uitgebrachte – LP's, singles en CD hoezen. Bij elkaar weer 288 pagina's Supersister kijk- en leesplezier! (tweetalig: Engels en Nederlands)

Looking back

Dit nieuwe boek is gerealiseerd in nauwe samenwerking met Robert Jan Stips en longtime manager Aad Link. Omdat Supersister altijd op zoek is naar iets bijzonders, opperde Robert Jan het idee om dit boek in omgekeerde chronologische volgorde aan te pakken. Retsisrepus: 1001 Supersister moments opent dus met het Supersister Projekt in 2021 en eindigt met The Blubs in 1964. ‘Begin goed, al goed,’ zo beargumenteerde Robert Jan zijn keus.

Aanvulling

Dit coffee table boek is een aanvulling op de biografie die in 2020 is verschenen. In die editie van bijna 1000 pagina’s was geen plaats meer voor een volledige discografie, en ook veel foto’s moesten helaas ongezien blijven. Voor wie trek heeft in meer, is er nu Retsisrepus: 1001 Supersister moments.

+++ NEW SUPERSISTER BOOK! +++ 

In October 2021, the deluxe coffee table book Retsisrepus: 1001 Supersister moments, a lavishly illustrated concert chronology + discography of the progressive Dutch pop legend Supersister, was published. In this ‘photo book’ (it's so much more than just a photo book!) you'll see many Supersister photos in colour and in larger size than in the Supersister biography Looking Back, Naked. Most of these photos are from private archives. Moreover, there are no less than 1001 Supersister moments listed: all known performances, recording sessions, bootleg recordings and other important moments in Supersister's existence. Finally, you'll find a complete discography (including photos of all LPs and CDs) in the second part towards the end of the book.

Looking back

This new book was realised in close collaboration with Robert Jan Stips and longtime manager Aad Link. Because Supersister is always looking for something special, Robert Jan came up with the idea to create this book in reverse chronological order. That's why the book opens with the Supersister Projekt in 2021 and ends with The Blubs in 1964. ‘All’s well that begins well,’ is how Robert Jan argued his choice.

Supplement

This coffee table book is a supplement to the biography published in 2020. In that edition of almost 1000 pages there was no space left for a complete discography, and many photos had to remain unseen. For those who crave more, there is now Retsisrepus: 1001 Supersister moments.
